Independent Comic

This comic book opens up to a strange nightmare world where a boy goes into endless shallow waters. The sky above looks like shards of broken glass, with his eyes bulging and bloodshot watch whatever he does. Suddenly, the water bubbles, revealing a dark figure emerging from the depths. It cuts to a man waking up from this recurring nightmare and wondering what it could mean. The next scene takes us to a small village destroyed by an unknown force. A samurai visits the ruins and finds his wife dead on the floor, her soul crushed by a superhero. Terrified, he confronts the villain of the story, but before he can attack him, a giant hand reaches out from behind him, cracking his head like a grape, revealing a blood-spattered title.
