Morpheus Tales Illustration

I did a spot illustration for an independent horror magazine using India ink on Bristol Board. I added an ink wash to the background to add depth to the piece. My work was heavily influenced by illustrator Stephen Gammell of the famous "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark" series. I wanted to capture the same horror and wonder in my illustrations. It gives the reader experience a great deal. This illustration was created to honor Gammel's marking style and bring my unique perspective to the project.
