Zelda Breath of the Wild Illustration

I drew this for the Dark Horse Comics contest for Zelda Breath of the Wild. My planning for this project began with sketching on an 11x17 bristol board, where I focused on the piece's composition, concept, and body. I then did the final line work with India ink using a brush and nib pen. Once the ink stage was done, I colored the artwork in Photoshop digitally.
